How we research, review and correct

In short: Every date, rule and penalty on E-Invoicing UAE is taken from the Ministry of Finance's own published text, and each page shows when it was last reviewed. When a new decision or guideline is published, affected pages are updated in the same week and the change is recorded in the corrections log below. No provider pays to appear on the site or to influence what it says.

E-Invoicing UAE exists to give UAE businesses a straight answer about a mandate most of them are reading about on vendor websites. That only works if the answers are traceable and current. This page sets out the rules we hold ourselves to.

Where our facts come from

We rank sources in a fixed order and use the highest one available:

  1. The official text. Ministerial decisions and resolutions, the Cabinet decision on penalties, and Ministry of Finance guidelines and technical documents, read in the published English version. The full register is on our sources page.
  2. Official programme pages. The Ministry of Finance e-invoicing page, its register of Accredited Service Providers, and the Federal Tax Authority’s e-invoicing page.
  3. Professional alerts. Analyses from accounting and law firms, used to read a change in context or when the official file cannot be opened. We name the firm when we rely on one.

Press and vendor articles are never the only source for a date, a scope rule or a penalty.

How pages are reviewed

  • Every guidance page carries a Last reviewed date. It changes only when someone has actually checked the page against the sources, and the same date feeds the page’s structured data.
  • We check the Ministry of Finance programme page at least monthly, and whenever a new instrument is reported.
  • Deadline copy is calculated from the date you are reading it, at build time and in your browser, and the site rebuilds every night, so a countdown never shows a date that has passed.
  • Pages are reviewed by SHORIQ, the engineering company that delivers the integration and automation work described on this site.

What we will not publish

  • Advice on your tax position. We are not a tax advisor, and say so where a question needs one.
  • Provider rankings or “best ASP” lists. The ASP list is the official register in its own order; our selection guide gives criteria, not winners.
  • Testimonials, client names or statistics we cannot source. Industry figures are quoted with the publisher and year.
  • Anything presented as official. This is an independent site, not a government service.

Independence

E-Invoicing UAE is operated by SHORIQ TECH LLC, which earns its income from implementation, integration and automation work. No Accredited Service Provider pays us — not for placement on the site, not for referrals. If that ever changes, the disclosure will appear on every affected page.
