Microsoft Dynamics 365 and UAE e-invoicing
In short: Microsoft did not appear on the UAE Ministry of Finance register of Accredited Service Providers on 27 October 2026, so Dynamics 365 users connect to one of the 80 accredited providers. Business Central and Finance and Operations need different approaches, and the integration should write every acceptance and rejection back into Dynamics so finance never works from a provider portal.
Dynamics 365 is common across UAE mid-market and enterprise businesses, often with partner extensions and customisations. The e-invoicing integration has to respect both.
Business Central or Finance and Operations?
- Business Central — SaaS-first with extensions from AppSource; many providers offer extensions, so check the one you choose supports your localisation and version.
- Finance and Operations (Finance, Supply Chain) — larger data models, more document types and more customisation; plan an integration designed and tested against your actual configuration.
What a sound integration includes
- Mapping sales invoices, credit notes and project invoices to PINT AE
- TRNs and Peppol IDs held on customer and vendor records
- Status and rejection messages written back to the posted document
- Supplier e-invoices received into accounts payable for matching
- Monitoring and alerting, so a stuck queue is seen the same day — not at VAT return time
Why it matters which engineers do it
Dynamics integrations live on Azure, Power Platform and the Microsoft stack — the stack SHORIQ engineers work on daily. See ERP integration for how an engagement runs, and invoice automation for what can be automated once invoices are structured.
